Jonathan M. Jayson serves as the Managing Member specializing in the acquisition of multifamily properties across the United States. Jonathan’s primary focus is partnering with and advising select private equity firms in the niche market of off-market multifamily acquisitions.
Previously, Mr. Jayson was the director of dispositions for J.M. Jayson & Company in Amherst, NY. While there, he achieved over $160 million in the acquisition and sales of investment grade property throughout the United States, including the sale of multifamily, office warehouse, office parks and buildings. His extensive experience includes: negotiated sales terms and ongoing contractual terms and conditions; creation of financial projections; coordinated sales efforts with internal property management teams; managed due diligence; property inspections; and coordinated property closings. Prior to opening The Jayson Group/Jayson Real Estate Corporation in 2016, Mr. Jayson also was the owner and Managing Director for an SVN Commercial Real Estate office located in New York state. Mr. Jayson is a licensed broker both in New York and Florida. With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience, he has secured over 80 transactions with a sales volume valued at over $470 million. Mr. Jayson earned a Bachelor of Arts from the American University, Washington, D.C. His interests include coaching, horseback riding, swimming, bicycling, and spending time with his wife Jessica and children, Madison and J.R. The Jayson family resides in West Palm Beach, Florida. |
